FONOVOZ: Uma Celebração da Poesia Sonora em Lisboa
Nos dias 21 e 22 de junho de 2024, o O'culto da Ajuda, em Lisboa, recebe o FONOVOZ, dedicado à poesia sonora. Com curadoria de Manuel Portela e Rui Torres, e organizado pela Miso Music Portugal, estes Encontros de Poesia Sonora trazem a Portugal a diversidade de uma prática que surgiu nas primeiras décadas do século XX, e que integrou as inovações eletrónicas do século XXI.
O evento explora a tensão entre pré-língua, língua e pós-língua, convidando o público a uma nova forma de escutar os sons da fala e da voz humana.
A programação inclui uma exposição que oferece a oportunidade de conhecer obras que representam o espectro amplo da poesia sonora contemporânea.
Além disso, mesas-redondas contarão com a presença dos curadores e dos artistas convidados.
As performances ao vivo, agendadas para as 21h, estão assim distribuídas: Kinga Tóth (Hungria) e Alfredo Costa Monteiro (Portugal) a 21 de junho; Jörg Piringer (Áustria) e Cia Rinne (Suécia) a 22 de junho.
O FONOVOZ é um encontro para os apreciadores de poesia sonora, mas também para todos aqueles que se interessam pela intersecção entre arte, tecnologia e linguagem.
PHONOVOICE: A Celebration of Sound Poetry in Lisbon
On June 21 and 22, 2024, the O'culto da Ajuda in Lisbon will host PHONOVOICE, an event dedicated to sound poetry. Curated by Manuel Portela and Rui Torres, and organized by Miso Music Portugal, these Sound Poetry Meetings showcases the diversity of a creative practice that emerged in the first decades of the 20th century and has integrated the electronic innovations of the 21st century.
The event explores the tension between pre-speech, speech, and post-speech, inviting the audience to a new way of listening to the sounds of language and the human voice.
The program includes an exhibition that offers the opportunity to see works that represent the broad spectrum of contemporary sound poetry.
In addition, there will be round-table discussions with curators and guest artists.
The live performances, scheduled for 9pm, are distributed as follows: Kinga Tóth (Hungary) and Alfredo Costa Monteiro (Portugal) on June 21; Jörg Piringer (Austria) and Cia Rinne (Sweden) on June 22.
PHONOVOICE is a meeting for lovers of sound poetry, but also for anyone interested in the intersection between art, technology, and language.
